Dorothy was born October 3, 1953 to Maurice and Annetta Taylor in Castalia, NC. On Monday November 17, 2014 while in a peaceful sleep surrounded by her family, Dorothy answered the call to go to her eternal resting place in heaven. Viewing will be held Monday November 24, 2014 at Cooke Bros Funeral Chapel& Crematory from Noon until 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Macedonia Baptist Church 5500 Marshall Avenue, Newport News VA. Burial will be private.
