Thomas Lee Johnson Sr.

Mr. Thomas Johnson, Sr., husband of Letitia Johnson; father of Ms. Ebony k. Johnson and Thomas Johnson Jr.; son of Luella and Albert Johnson and was a former member of Bethel Temple Church, Hampton VA. Thomas Johnson transitioned on Saturday October 7, 2023 at Hospice House of Williamsburg, Williamsburg VA.

Thomas Johnson was born June 25, 1958 in Hampton, VA. He initially attended primary grades R.R. Moton School in Hampton, VA. Thomas Johnson graduated from Hampton High School in 1979, he also attended Nursing School CNA Associates Program. Thomas Johnson was employed at Krispy Kreme while having various jobs in between leading to working at Newport News Nursing Rehab. In nursing, where he has strong, loving, warm, and compassionate with his patients, and he has a desire to make a difference in other people's lives.

Thomas Johnson preceded in death by three sisters, Gloria Burns (deceased), Bertlee Johnson, Carolyn Scott (Bernard), and 3 brothers, Cleveland Johnson (deceased) Albert Johnson Jr. Larry Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Letitia Johnson; two children, Ebony Johnson, Thomas Johnson Jr., of Hampton, VA.; three grand children, Kameron Adams, (Sherelle) Kamari Adams, Seriyah Johnson, and several uncles aunts, and a host of cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel.  A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023 at Hampton Memorial Gardens, 155 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, Va.
