Robert Lawrence Moore Jr. Departed his life on September 11, 2026 at Newport News Rehabilitation Nursing Facility in Hospice Care, surrounded by his loves ones. Robert was the First born of five children to Robert Lawrence Moore Sr. and Carolyn A. Moore. Robert was affectionately known as “Junior”.

Robert was born in Greenville, North Carolina, at Pitt Memorial Hospital. Robert attended school in Greenville, North Carolina along with attending school here in Virginia. “Jr.” had work varies jobs in this life mostly warehouse. “Jr.” worked, until he became disable. “Jr.” love a variety of sports especially basketball, football and wrestling. He also had a love for D.J’s, “Jr.” was a D.J himself known by the name of “D.J Rob”.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Jean Alford Moore,Aunts, Arva M. Carroll, Doris Green, Uncle, Johnny Moore, wife (Pina Moore), Baltimore, MD.

Robert is survived by his father, Robert Lawrence Moore Sr. Five siblings,Brothers Roger Moore, Xavier Moore wife (Konya), Jerome Moore, sisters, Alfie Harry Moore, Candace Moore Gregory husband (Jamal Gregory).

A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601-27th Street, Newport News, VA. 23607
