Percy B. Haney Sr. also known as "Pa" earned his wings at the age of 82 on Thursday September 10, 2015 when he went home to be with the lord. He was born august 12,1933 in Holy Hill South Carolina. Later moving to Virginia where he would start and raise his family. He was preceded in deathly his mother and father Flora and David Haney,three brothers James,Prezzie, and Robert and one sister, Hattie Mae Ravenell. To forever cherish his memory he leaves to cherish his wife Lattie Mae Haney, his children Marletha Moyler (Cyrus), Percy Haney jr., Loleane Burist (Nick), Percy "Mickey" Sr., Anthony "Ricky" Vereen, Venus Whetstone (Ulysses), Keith Graham, Antjuan Thigpen, James Thigpen and Pat Gunter. Two sisters Flossie Graham and Jamie Strafford along with one brother Roosevelt Haney. 48 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A special friend Sallie Bumpers and a special grandson Vasean "Brody" Bumpers. Mr. Henry was devoted family man and a wonderful friend. Working in the construction field for over 50 years, he worked on various projects throughout Newport News and Hampton Virginia. He will be cherished forever in the heart of those he leaves behind.
