Mrs. Patricia Ann Johnson-Alston was born to the late George Robert Johnson and the late Mary Ann Ripperger on September 6, 1958, in St. Louis Missouri where she was raised and completed her primary, immediate, and secondary schooling.

Patricia graduated from Centralia High School in Centralia, Missouri in 1977.  She furthered her education at Excelsior Springs Job Corps in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.

She joined the United States Army and after completing basic training she was stationed at Fort Eustis, Newport News, Virginia.  Upon completion of her military career, she became employed at the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company, now known as Huntington Ingalls Industries.

Patricia was very fond of shopping, as most women.  Her favorite retail establishment was Walmart.  You could find her walking or securing a ride to the nearest location any day of the week.

Patricia married the love of her life, Julian Derrick Alston on April 27, 2017.  She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Julian, three sisters-in-law, Doris Alston Williams, Audrey Alston Alston, and Sallie Alston Rogers (William June "WJ" Rogers) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Patricia Ann Johnson-Alston's interment will be a private ceremony held at Albert B Horton Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia.
