Lady of Magic- Patrice Smith was born April 3,1977 in Newport News, Virginia to Iola L. Copeland and Keith O. Copeland.

Southern Girl- Patrice was inspirational, wise, and an all around beautiful soul. She was employed with Riverside Urology Specialist for 18 years where she gained wonderful connections with her co-workers and friends. Patrice enjoyed eating crabs while listening to her main man Frankie Beverly. She also enjoyed sitting on the phone with Aisha her sister in love and her twin Tina for hours talking.

Happy Feelings- She was a mother to Keyaira and Nyasia Smith. She was a proud grandmother Egypt Birden

She enjoyed playing slots, Frankie, and making people feel as golden as she was.Joy and Pain- February 28, 2024 is when Patrice entered into her eternal rest.  And now will forever be our special guardian angel dressed in all white.

Before I Let Go-  Patrice was preceded in death by her parents, Iola and Keith Copeland and her brother Angelo Copeland. She leaves to cherish her spouse Mike Smith, her two daughters Keyaira and Nyasia Smith, her granddaughter Egypt Birden, her grandmother Bertha Edwards, her sister Catina Copeland, her nieces Raven, Angela, Daniya, and Journey, her nephews Rai'Quane and  A'Jehaun. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601-27th Street, Newport News,Va. 23607. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the funeral chapel.
