On Monday, December 16, 2024, Dr. Lois M. Green departed this life from Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, Virginia.  She now rests in the arms of Jesus.  She was born in Maxton, North Carolina on November 28, 1941, her mother and father relocated to the state of Virginia, and the family found Newport News to be the place they would call home.  She married Robert M. Green on November 26, 1964 and they remained married for 51 loving years to follow.  This union was blessed with their two children, Wanda and Franco.

Dr. Green accepted Christ at an early age and worked faithfully alongside her mother, the late Dr. Lorraine M Morrison until her death. Eventually Dr. Green and her husband Rev. Robert M. Green launched their ministry which is known as Prayer Deliverance Church Ministries in the city of Newport News.  God's work through this ministry will continue.

Viewing will be held Friday, December 27, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601-27th Street, Newport News, Va. A homegoing service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2024 at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Big Bethel Road, Hampton,Va. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
