Obituary

Mr. Nathan Haywood Hundley, born February 7, 1966 in Hampton, Virginia to the late Mary L. Hutcheson-Hundley and Mr. Ronald Haywood Beverly, passed away peacefully Monday, December 23, 2024 at Duke University Hospital.

Nathan was reared by Joe Nathaniel and Mary Louise (Russell) Hutcheson until the age of 7.  Then moved to Williamsburg, Virginia until his mother wedded Capt. James Carlton Hundley, Jr.  He loved frequenting the youth centers as a military brat.  From California, Kansas and Virginia.  He was a positive light to whoever he met along the way.  He had a giving heart and was consciously saved in Hempstead Long Island on visit to great-aunt, Janice Spencer-Beverly home at age 15.

Mr. Hundley graduated from Derby High School in Derby, Kansas.  He enjoyed cooking, music, watching his Dallas Cowboys, and most of all, spending time with his dog "Tip".

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife, Chriselda C. Hundley; his sons, Nathan D. Hundley, Nile Hundley; his sister, Stacey R. Hundley-Reyesmejia (Isaac), and his brother, Jared K. Hundley (Anya); his nieces and nephews, Kevin B. Carpenter II, Gretchen M. Carpenter, Angelo D. Reyesmejia, Soleil R. Reyesmejia; and a host of cousins and friends.
