Naomi C. Massenburg, wife of the late Shelley Massenburg and mother of Judith M. Patterson and the late Bruce E. Massenburg, Richard A. Massenburg and Gwendolyn E. Jones passed on August 2, 2026.  Viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Zion Baptist Church in Newport News. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
