Missionary Raquel Holmes , the mother of Brother Jonathan Holmes, daughter of State Supervisor Mother Jacquelin G. Holmes, and the sister of Missionary Rochelle Holmes-Robbins and Elder Arthur Holmes, Jr., passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023.

Public visitation will begin at 12:00 noon followed by the family hour from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2023 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel.  A homegoing celebration honoring the life & legacy of Missionary Raquel Holmes will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at St. John Church of God In Christ, 2416 Orcutt Ave., Newport News, Virginia.  The Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens, 155 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, Va. 23666.
