Michael James Reikowsky entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Coliseum Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center

Michael "Mike" was born on May 3 , 1961, in Michigan.  As a child he and his family relocated to Cary North Carolina.  He was in the boy scouts four years, and played in the Cary high school band.

Mike lived an adventurous life of travel, exploring, food, and hard work.  Friends and family were drawn to his kindness and hospitality. Because of his warm heart, positive spirit, and unwavering perseverance, Mike was an inspiration to all.  He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, music cooking, reading, and partaking in fine cuisine.  His hobby of collecting figurings brought an added element of joy.  His beloved niece Sheri Barnes was a source of constant joy and comfort to the end.  Above all, he cherished time with his parents and special friend, Maryellen Cosby Smalls.

Surviving is his father; Fred "Hub" Reikowsky, mother; Gail Reikowsky, brot her; Fred Allen Reikowsky and wife Carrie.

Gone from this world, but forever in our hearts. Services are private.
