Ms. Margaret Diane Ford, passed on July 1, 2026. Diane was born on January 3, 1952 in Tarboro, North Carolina to the late Richard and Carrie Killebrew. She relocated to Hampton, VA at an early age. She attended Dunbar Elementary School and finished her education at Phoenix High School.

She worked in Food and Beverage services for many years, with Jack's Restaurant being her last employer. Diane was proceeded in death by her  parent's Richard and Carrie Lee Killebrew, two sisters: Shirley Killebrew and Francine Williams, four brothers: Perry Ford, Charles Smith, William Dickens and Tony Dickens.

Diane leaves to cherish her memory: one sister, Lorraine Williams, two brothers:  George Dickens and Joseph Killebrew, three aunts: Mary L. Batts and Maniza Findlater, and Paulette Alston, her surrogate mother , Mary Lee Ford and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601-27th Street, Newport News, Va.
