On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, God sent His Angels to escort home His child, Lottie Ernestine McIntosh.

Lottie was born February 1, 1951, to Gilean Pretlow and Ernest Hart, both of whom preceded her in death. Her sister Evelyn Ferguson, grandsons, Ernest James (EJ) Crudup and Andre McElrath also preceded her in death.

Lottie was educated in Newport News Public Schools. She furthered her education in Business Administration at Thomas Nelson Community College. Lottie worked for 7-11 corporation for more than 15 years, and later retiring with disability from AAFES. Lottie's hobbies included sewing, crossword puzzles, and gardening. She was very passionate about spending quality time with her grand and great-grandchildren.

She lives to cherish her memory, four children, Ernest (Bo-Bo) McIntosh,Elijah McIntosh, Jeremiah (Keyon) McIntosh, and Chantell McIntosh; five grandchildren, Star Scott, Brian Whitlow, Jasmine Aaron, Eryka Shivers, and Chance Davis; eight great-grandchildren; six brothers; one sister; one aunt; special friends, Grace Roach, Rachel Crudup and her son, Douglas Crudup; a host of friends, by whom she was dearly loved.
