Linda Carolyn Wilson fell asleep in death, surrounded by family, on February 13, 2024 after a brief illness.  She was born on September 10, 1950 to the late Margaret and Robert R. Wilson, Sr.  She graduated from Newport News County Schools at Huntington High School in 1968.  Afterwards, she briefly went into the nursing medical field.

Linda was baptized on September 15, 1979 and, moved by her love of Jehovah God and of neighbor, served as a pioneer for many years.  She was a member of the Bethel Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Hampton, Va and, though physically limited, she enjoyed telling her neighbors and others about Jehovah, the Most High, as well as sharing scriptures with whom she met.  She held firm to her faith in the resurrection hope and living in a paradise earth soon to come. Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Takwon M. Wilson; and two brothers, Rexford E. Wilson and Robert R. Wilson, Jr.

She is survived by her two sons, Jeremy B. Wilson of Crofton, MD and Sean C. Wilson of Decatur, GA; her beloved grandchildren Nautika R. Wilson, Domineque A. Wilson, Thomas J. Harper, and De'osha Carr of NC; two sisters Sandra Wilson of Newport News, VA; Virginia M. Moore of Silver Spring, MD; four brothers, Ronald L. Wilson (Sophia) of Dalton, GA; Kenneth M. Wilson, Gregory W. Wilson and Victor E. Wilson of Newport News, VA, an uncle, Booker T. Moore, of Latham, NY; and a host of cousins, friends, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses; 1625 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, Va.
