Hearts were saddened when Mrs. Lillie Jones, 80, of Surry, Virginia, answered the Lord's call and went home to her heavenly rest in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

Mrs. Lillie Jones was born February 18, to the late David Harris and Mrs. Lucille Royal.  She was a member of the Church of The Lord Jesus Christ of The Apostolic Faith.  She was a active member and contributed her talent and time to the church.  She was a native of Prince George County.  Her hobbies included the love of upholstery, gardening, fixing things, cooking and being a amazing, wife, mother, auntie and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jones; siblings, Alice M. Harris, Patty R. Butts, Willie, David, Edward, Joe and James Harris; three uncles, William "Bill", Paul and Henry Jones; and one aunt, Amelia Faulkner.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Jackie Jones; a host of nieces and nephews, to include devoted nieces, Cheryl Golightly and Paulette Butts; and devoted nephew, Fred Harris (Felecia); great-nieces, Tayla Golightly and Caitlyn Butts; great-great-nephew, Cayden Butts and great-great-niece, Candis Butts.

Special thanks and love from the family to Sis. Myke Cox, Sis. Delores Wells, Ms. Debra Moore, and to Ms. Wendy McCourry.  The family would like to thank friends and well wishers for their prayers and condolences.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel.
