Leonard Rand Sr. a loving family man and friend to many.

Born May 3rd, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Clement and Gwendolyn (Glasgow) Rand, transitioned on Tuesday March 18, 2025 in Newport News, VA. He was the 2nd of 4 brothers and after graduating from Boys High in Brooklyn, NY he enlisted and served in the United States Airforce.

He was a 3 times retired resident of Newport News, VA, where he also served as President and Tournament Director of Greater Hampton Roads Bowling Senate of the TNBA. He was also honored to serve in the Royal Court crowned as Prince for TNBA Organization from 2013-2014.

He is survived by his Wife Mattie (DeBrew) Rand, Daughter Renee Rand-Crockett of Las Vegas, Son Leonard (Harriet) Rand, Jr.  of Huntsville, AL, Daughters Wanda Jones of New Windsor, NY, Brenda Walden of Hampton, VA, 5 Grandson's, 3 Great Grandson's, Brother Martin (Ruth) Rand, Sr. of Sayerville, NJ, Brother In-Law, Sisters In-Law, and a host of Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held, Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at  Sparetimes Bowling Alley,1 Family Fun Pl, Hampton, VA 23666
from 9am to 1pm.
