Mr. Keith La-Mar Winnegan , 59, was born March 16, 1963 to James and Rose Winnegan.  He was raised in both Smithfield and Newport News, Virginia.  He passed away March 12, 2023.

Professionally, Keith learned brick masonry in Job Corps, becoming a hardworker as a brick and concrete finisher.  Later, Keith became self-employed in landscaping and lawn care.  Keith took pride in playing his music, cooking, and his favorite past time fishing.

Keith was preceded in death by his father, James Winnegan; and his sister, Martha Dale.  He will be sadly missed by his devoted and loving wife of 31 years, Gloria Winnegan; his loving daughter, Lakeisha Winnegan, along with his two grandsons, James and Jayveon.  He will also be missed by his mother, Rose Winnegan; his aunt, Geraldine Greene; four sisters, Rosa Graham (Sylvanus), Francis Winnegan, Joy McCoy, Alesia Winnegan; his brother, Lorenzo "Tyrene" Winnegan (Tara).  Keith is loved and missed by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a host of cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601-27th Street, Newport News, Va. 23607. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the funeral chapel.
