James Leroy Turner, IV also known as JJ, Coach, T, Tank, and Face (Scarface) was born on 21 June 1975 in Buffalo, NY to Veronica Vincent and James L Turner III.  He was called home on 30 April 2024 at the age of 48 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.

James was an amazing husband, father, friend, mentor, Coach and an Army Veteran.  James traveled the world, played European NFL Football, enjoyed spending time with his family and owning his own business.

He is survived by his wife Anngella, son James, daughter Janella, Mother Veronica, and Grandfather Marvin.  He will truly be missed by all those that knew him as James was known to never meet a stranger.  He would truly be happy to know how much he was loved by all.  We thank everyone for their love and outpouring support during this difficult time.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel.
