Miss Glenda Joyce Gaskins , was called home on Sunday, December 3, 2023.  She was born October 12, 1962 in Newport News, Virginia to Chester and Teresa Gaskins.

She attended Courtland County Public School System.  She resided in the Newport News area.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Gaskins; two brothers, Chester A. Gaskins and Dwane Gaskins.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Teresa G. Brown; her son, Royce Gaskins; her daughters, Loyce Gaskins, Doyce Gaskins and Toyce Gaskins (Keon); her sister, Tammie Justice (John); and her brother, Tyrian Gaskins (Jeroline); a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; she will also be missed by a very special friend, Michael.

A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2023 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel (Downtown location).
