Faith Ramona Weddle Hymon entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 4, 2024, in the comfort of her home in Hampton, Virginia surrounded by her loving family at the age of 59.  Born in Newport News, Virginia, August 16, 1964.  Faith is preceded in death by her mother Carol Dawn Weddle Jackson, father Robert Charity of Surry, VA, brother Mark Weddle and sister Patricia Ann Jackson.

Her first place of employment was Newport News Daily Press, followed by working as a school Bus Driver for Hampton City School's Transportation Department.  Later in her career Ms. Hymon pursued her dream of counseling and helping those like herself and working at Odyssey Community Services and her last place of employment was with Colonial Behavioral Health Services as a Peer Support Recovery Specialist.  Faith also attended Bryant & Stratton College Hampton, VA receiving her Associate Degree.

Faith loved more than anything spending time with her children, her dog (Cosmo), and her career.  Faith loved helping anyone, anyway she could.  In passing Faith left behind five children, Quiara Reedy (Newport News, VA), Carol Howard (North Carolina), John Henry Lewis, III (Newport News, VA), Emoya K. Lewis (Chesterfield County, VA), and Khaleesa Milbourne (Blacksburg, VA), and 14 grandchildren.  She leaves to cherish her sisters Carolyn Jackson Valentine, Karen Annese Williams, brothers Monte Cristo Weddle, Michael Weddle, and Charles Weddle. Faith also leaves behind a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held  12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel.
