ELTER DeVALE WARD

Elter DeVale Ward of Newport News, Virginia, formerly of Baltimore, Maryland, age 66, passed away on January 6th, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his father, Windell Ward, Sr. of South Carolina, and his nephew, Keith Ward, of Newport News, Virginia.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Greene; two brothers, Windell (Natasha) Ward, Jr. and Antonio (Hyacinth) Ward III; four sisters, LaValerie (Preston) Lynn, Gwenevere (David) Miller, Wendy (Ramone) Robertson, and Veronica (Kevin) Patterson; close friend and "brother", Robert Fisher; and a host of nieces and nephews.  Services held will be private.
