Eliana Joy Jones entered this world on August 4, 2026, and in her brief but precious time here, she filled the hearts of her family with a love that will last a lifetime. Though her time on earth was short, Eliana’s life was meaningful, and her memory will forever be treasured by all who loved her.Eliana was the beloved daughter of Jayla Sargent and Shawn Jones.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Earl Sargent.

Left to cherish her precious memory are her grandparents, Alesia Johnson (Mallory), Linwood Jones, Jr., and Shawntay Jones; great-grandmothers, Denise Johnson and Nancy Jones; aunts, Joelle Sargent, Jordan Sargent, and Kennedi Jones; uncles, Aron Sargent-Mooring (Tasha) and Linwood Jones, III; along with a host of loving great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.Eliana Joy may have only been with us for a moment, but the love she brought into this world will remain forever. Her tiny life left an immeasurable imprint on the hearts of her parents and family. She will always be remembered, always be loved, and forever be a cherished part of our family.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2026 at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
