Daniel Harris, Jr., was born on March 15, 1935 in Ahoski, North Carolina and died peacefully in his sleep the morning of October 16, 2023.

He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel Harris and Mamie (Coley) Harris; and two grandchildren, Tamara Littlejohn and Travis Harris.

He is survived by his wife, Hattie B. Harris; one son, Daniel Littlejohn, Jr.; two daughters, Jackie Littlejohn and Yolanda Faye Harris; as well as three step-children, Keith W. Witherspoon (Sandra L.), Sandra D. Witherspoon (Dwayne), and Sharon V. Pope; six grandchildren, Daniel Littlejohn, III (Toya), Maqurs McClain, Tyran McClain, Carlton Littlejohn, Jackie Littlejohn, and Monique Littlejohn Murphy; and 13 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601-27th Street, Newport News, VA. A funeral service will be held 12 Noon, Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
