The amazing Antonio Ricardo Lewis entered this world on the 8th day of June, in the year 1980. He was raised by his Mother Betty Harris and Father the late Gregory Harris both of Newport News. His natural father Kenny Tucker is also of Newport News.
Antonio was educated in the Newport News Public School System, attending schools zoned for his beloved neighborhood: Stuart Gardens Apartments. Menchville High School held fond memories for him and a few loyal friends!
One of his favorite things to do was have "outside" fun. Playing Football and Baseball at Anderson Park or Basketball at the courts out the "G's" - just talking about it made that unforgettable smile of his- light up the room. They were lifetime memories for him to have and then to share with his children.
When it came to Professional Sports Teams, his favorites were:
NFL - Washington Commanders (formerly known as The Redskins) NBA - The Los Angeles Lakers.
He also loved listening to music from Old Skool to New Skool and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Antonio was a loving father and grandfather. He adored his grandchildren and would spend any opportunity possible to love on them!
He was preceded in death by his Father Gregory Harris, son Keon Lewis, daughter Jermiya Pryear and his grandparents Robert and Mary Lewis, Percy and Emma Harris.
He leaves, to cherish his memory 4 children; Lanaia Lewis, Jermiya Pryear, Keon Lewis and Kamari Lewis all of Newport News Virginia.
4 grandchildren; Nakiya Pryear, My'shawn Pryear, Xylan Womack, and Xaviell Womack.
2 Brothers; Gregory Lewis(Chelsea Lewis), Terence Lewis, and Tia Campbell all of Newport News Virginia.
5 nieces; Journ'eii and Kelsey Lewis, Serenity and Trinity Lewis, Anyah Campbell, 2 nephews Anthony and Antonio Moore.
And, his Sister "Cousin" Lakisha Lewis of Newport News - they grew up more like sister and brother and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends. Antonio will be forever missed with a special place in all of our hearts.
Viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2024 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
