Mr. Antoine Wright Sr., born July 8, 1975 to Evelyn R. Wright and Ernest A. L. Wright, Sr., passed away peacefully Thursday, February 26, 2026.

He attended the Newport News Public School system, graduating from Menchville High School in 1995.  He enjoyed playing video games (Madden), slot machines, selling cars, dressing, his favorite rapper was "Jay-Z", he was a die-hard Washington Commanders fan, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his son and grandson. He was employed by the Newport News Shipyard for 20 years.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his second father, Anderson Craig; his brother, Troy Wright; his sister, Seletta Harris; his nephew, Domingo Davis, Sr.; and his great-nephew, Domingo Davis, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Antoine Wright, Jr.; his grandson, Aseer Darntrell Wright; his siblings, Bret Wright, Larry Wright, Udora Jones (Keith), Ernest Wright, Jr. (Ella), Clovia Cooper, Paula Wright, Deborah Hawkins, Mattie Hawkins; a special friend, Tawanda Garner; his best friend Simone Hayes; his god-son, Aiden Hayes; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, other relatives and many friends.

Viewing will be held 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2026 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel.  A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601-27th Street, Newport News, Va.
