Anthony A. Hargrove "Boo-Boo" , 56, entered into enteral rest on December 8, 2023.  He was born in Newport News, VA., to Emma and Berl Hargrove.

Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Hargrove; father, Berl Hargrove; and 3 brothers, Bobby Mitchell, Berl Hargrove and Reginald Mitchell (Mary).  He graduated from Hampton High School.  Later started working in the brick masonry industry with Toombs Masonry and Snow JR & King Masonry.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children; Asia Whitlow and Aaron Whitlow; granddaughters, Serenity, Symphony and Serena Whitlow; one sister, Janis Mitchell; four brothers, Larry Mitchell, Robby Berkeley, Gregory Mitchell (Eiko) and Paul Hargrove; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the start of the Celebration of Life service at 12:00 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2023 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel.
