On Friday, December 13, 2024, Annette Delores Wynn was called to eternal rest by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at The John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Annette was born August 5, 1957 in Newport News, VA to the late Abraham Lincoln and Bertha Ganey Wynn. She attended Newport News Public Schools and graduated from Ferguson High School. She furthered her education in Baltimore, MD. She went on to work at the John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center retiring after twenty years working as a Health Information Management Physician Incomplete Liaison in medical records. She later worked part-time at the Downtown Baltimore Child Care as a Teacher's Assistant. Annette had a loving and kind spirit and was very much loved by her family and friends.

She was a faithful servant of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship Church under the leadership of the late Apostle Mary M. Wheeler and Apostle Charles E. Waters. Now under the pastorate of Apostle Felicia B. Waters, Annette served on the Usher Board, Finance Committee, Children and Outreach Ministries.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham Lincoln and Bertha Ganey Wynn; sisters Myretta Elizabeth Ganey and Linda Wynn; aunts Elizabeth Pena Miller, Ernestine Wiggins, Bernice Wynn, and Elnora Wynn; and uncles Horace Haynes, Percy Lee Jones, and Earl Winn.

Annette leaves to cherish her memories sisters, Joyce Wynn of Hampton, VA, Deborah Wynn (Pittman) of Petersburg, VA, and special bonus sister, Dorothy Turnage of Baltimore, MD; brother, Steven Winn (Susanna) of Newport News, VA; special nephew, Marvin Ganey (Kim) of Loganville, GA; aunts, Corrine Haynes of Newport News, VA and Mildred Winn of Baltimore, MD, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Transformation Life Center, 151 Wythe Parkway, Hampton, VA on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 12:00 pm. Professional services provided by Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel and Crematory (Downtown), 1601 27th Street, Newport News, VA. Interment to follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens in Hampton, VA.
