On Friday, January 3, 2025, Angelique Helena Renalda Williams passed away at age 45, in Norfolk, VA. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and loyal friend.

Angelique was born on July 29, 1979, in Hampton, Virginia, to Deborah Denise Pipkins and Henry Renaldo Pipkins. Angel graduated from Hampton High School (in Hampton, VA (1997). Following graduation, she built computers at Gateway 2000 until 2003. In 2008, Angelique not only earned an Associate Degree in computer-aided drafting, but she also completed a certificate program focused on electrical engineering and design from Thomas Nelson Community College. She became an engineer technician at the Newport News Shipyard. Over the course of 16 years, Angelique continued her professional development with the Shipyard until her passing.

On November 26, 2007, Angelique married Dimitri Williams, the love of her life and best friend. She loved traveling and reading, and with Dimitri, they traveled the world. Angelique loved her children, Malique and Ashanti, and she was devoted to her family. She also served her community by volunteering in the TATOO tutoring program.

Angelique was preceded in death by her father, Henry Pipkins. To cherish her memory, she leaves her husband of 17 years, Dimitri Williams, and her children, Malique and Ashanti Jones. She also leaves her mother, Deborah Pipkins, as well as her siblings, Sonya Pipkins, Katira Darnell, Henry Pipkins, Jr., and Reiko Pipkins.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 11,2025 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601-27th Street, Newport News, Va. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. There will be no public viewing.
