Alvernia Dickens entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 11, 2023 in the comfort of her residence surrounded by her loving family.  Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. up until the Celebration of Life service starting at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023 at First Baptist Church Jefferson Park.  Interment will be in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
